Kleftiko (the Best Slow Roasted Lamb)
A traditional dish: Greek lamb Kleftiko (κλέφτικο) comes with lots of flavors combined to perfection! The 3.5 hour Slow roasted lamb is infused and surrounded by red potatoes while fully wrapped in parchment paper. Meaning: "Kleftiko" directly translates to "stolen meat" in Greek. Origin story: The "klephts" were Greek rebels who would steal livestock from Ottoman forces and cook it underground to avoid detection while hiding in the mountains.
