When I was a teenager one of my favorite things to do was to stop at a local chocolatier and buy their cayenne spiced chocolate truffles. At the time it was unlike anything I had ever had - the rich chocolate, the slight tingle from the cayenne. It was also one of the first recipes I ever started making at home on repeat since it's truly so easy and yet is undeniably decadent. So this is my rough riff on it, I hope you love it.
Ingredients
1 bag chocolate chips (approximately 10 11oz)
0.5 cup heavy cream
pinch of cayenne
