Episode 13 of my series 'Upside down pies:' Surprisingly enough, and till date, I have not tried the most popular upside down pies on the internet which are these apple ones. I’ve tried many savories, sweets with different fruits, but never apples, so I was happy to go back to the main original one and try it for myself and I have to say that I understand where the hype is coming from, there is something so good about baked apples with puff pastry dough, as the apples tend to release their juices in the dough and it becomes such a delicious delight in every bite especially with a dash of cinnamon and some vanilla ice cream on top once its baked.
