If I had to single out a Korean menu to recommend to someone, it would be this. Galbijjim is a type of dish that highlights a birthday meal, a special dinner for guests or a family feast. The meat is cooked to fall-off-the-bone tenderness in the special sweet and savoury marinade. Treat that special someone (including yourself!) to this delicious goodness! I made it with whole length-wise ribs but it is common to use it cut into short ribs. Please feel free to choose either one depending on your preference.
