fresh-pita

fresh-pita

I'm not much of a baker, but baking bread is something that always fascinated me. It's a science, and it can sometimes be difficult. Thanks to my hummus series, I challenged myself to work on my bread making skills, and slowly but surely I'm on my way to becoming a pro. Because I'm not so experienced with baking, I usually "borrow" or take inspiration from people who are much better than me. Most of the time, it's my good friend and amazing baker @bengingi–if his website has a bread recipe I'm looking for, I'm choosing it over anybody else's! When it comes to pita, eating it fresh is SO MUCH BETTER than if you buy it from the store. This is generally true for any bread, but I've found a fresh made pita makes the biggest difference compared to any other bread. Try this out and see how something so simple can be so good. Make a sandwich with it, eat it with one of my hummus recipes, or just eat it straight up with some good butter or olive oil.
