popsicles-avocadoandbananas
love using avocados sometimes. Because avocados are rich in sodium, (good) sugar and cholesterol free. Also, they are a good source of five essential nutrients for toddlers and kids. Fibre, vitamin C, magnesium, folate and vitamin K. These vital nutrients support healthy growth and help the immune system. Plus, avocado is quite versatile, so it may be easier for your child to like the flavour. And if they don't like it, adding a bit of fun chocolate on top can turn it into a real joy for them! Bananas as well are quite famous for having high potassium and magnesium and are low in sodium content, which is a great combination when it comes to blood pressure. Bananas also contain carotenoids that are converted to vitamin A, which is highly beneficial for your kid's vision. The potassium content in bananas helps grow and strengthen bones. So you can agree with me, this mix it is not only pretty to look at but also quite healthy to eat! I just want to share with you that mine is a random combination of what I had a home but you can absolutely experiment with new flavours and mix up with your children different types of fruit, especially following the season. I believe that having "exotic fruits" is nice here and then and that our body also needs to satisfice craves. But it's important to keep in mind that, we should help mother nature and teach our kids how to eat based on the season and on what we can find close to us, in our land first. borrowed these popsicle moulds from a friend but I am aware sometimes moulds can be dangerous especially if they are made of plastic. I did some research and Zoku Ice pop moulds seem to be one of the most eco-friendly and danger-free ones. They also have the cutest shapes, I will probably buy the flamingos ones. LOL Ok, are you ready for some popsicle cuteness? Read below and please if you enjoyed this recipe drop a comment below!
