A Thai staple, that is likely to become a staple in your own home. Traditionally, Holy Basil would be used. Being that I have no idea where I would find that in Oregon, I used regular Genovese Basil. I read from "Hot Thai Kitchen" that Genovese Basil would actually have a closer flavor to Holy Basil, rather then Thai Basil. If you try it, let me know what you think!
