Welcome to the first dish in my new Sexy Salad Series!!! I don't think salads get enough love–when we think of them, we usually just think of them as a boring side to get our veggies in. But, let's start think of them as the main event–kinda like a sandwich. A good sandwich has its base (bread) killer sauce/dressing then some toppings for added flavor and texture. A salad is basically a sandwich without the bread! This series will feature some amazing dressings you probably haven't seen before. I'll show you some cool techniques and how to treat these ingredients to their fullest. First up is this charred shishito caesar salad that is a spicier, smokier version of the caesar salad we all love.
