In August 2023, our family arrived at Nasreen khala's house, and this is what we were served. To this day, it remains one of the most memorable (AKA delicious) meals I have ever had!! The flavour was EXQUISITE, the texture creamy, the shrimp colossal. And it all paired so beautifully with the most amazing tomato chutney (recipe on this site). One year later, Nasreen khala came to visit and gave me the most amazing gift - she came to my house and taught me how to make this. (Ok, I may have forced her hand, and she may not have enjoyed the experience, but why dwell on the details!) What's important is that Khala still loves me...I think...and, I've got the recipe! I know I'll never be able to get it 100% right, Nanu always reminds me that everyone's got their own touch. But even if I can get it a 60% match, that's fine with me. Yes, khala's biryani was THAT good!
