kosher-carbonara-two-ways
A few videos ago I said if I ever wanted to annoy Italians… I’d make a kosher carbonara. So I did. Twice. Classic carbonara is pork, cheese and eggs… so naturally this is none of those things and somehow still works. Version 1 is the closest you’ll get, lamb bacon, eggs, vegan parmesan, silky, glossy, actually ridiculous. Version 2 is the wildcard, silken tofu, takes 2 minutes, shouldn’t work… but it does.
Ingredients
200 –250 g pasta of choice
100 g lamb bacon (smoked lamb breast)
2 egg yolks
