Es increíble que a alguien se le haya ocurrido hacer una bebida a base de maíz morado. Cuando le comento a mis amigos extranjeros que en Perú bebemos una bebida de maíz, se sorprenden mucho y dudan que el sabor sea agradable, pero una vez que lo prueban, se vuelven adictos. Con esta misma bebida hacemos un postre que se llama mazamorra, un par de ingredientes más y listo. [It's incredible that someone came up with the idea of making a drink from purple corn. When I tell my foreign friends that in Peru we drink a corn-based beverage, they are very surprised and doubt that the taste is pleasant. But once they try it, they become addicted! With this same drink, we make a dessert called mazamorra, just a couple more ingredients and it's ready.]
