barras-de-mantequilla-mexican-pan-dulce

This classic Mexican pastry belongs to the big family of “Pan Dulce,” it's another classic that you will find at the Panaderias! Many people think margarine is very bad for you; for me is one of those things that, with moderation, is okay. Probably you didn’t know that most Mexican bakeries make this buttercream with margarine, and that’s because, yes, both margarine and butter are safe and fine for a few days at room temperature, but the butter can turn rancid. You can substitute the margarine per butter in the buttercream, but in the bread, I recommend you use the margarine for better flavor and texture.
