Fridge Clean Out Noodles
This is one of the more versatile recipes I have come up with. Try this one at the end of the week with anything you bought and didn't use. Usually, I would have a lot more to throw in the pan, but the fridge was not as full for once! For the mea, make sure the get a good browning on it. Over high heat, let it sit and sear well for a few minutes before turning it and crushing it up. You also only need to use some salt, as the real flavor is going to come from the sauce. As for the sauce, it may seem like a lot, but trust me, you're going to want all the sauce to coat every little nook and cranny of the veggies, noodles, and meat. IF you want, go ahead and change out the acid with differnt vinegars, or even some lime juice. Make it a bit spicier with some sriracha, or make it sweeter with more honey or agave. For the veggies, again, use whatever you have on hand. Just make sure to keep some crunch in there. Do this by cooking in layers. Onions first, then carrots, and lastly the cabbage. Use whatever noodles you have on hand. I had some Rice Sticks, but you can even use pasta noodles like spaghetti or linguini. Don't get caught up in whipping this up exactly like I did. I hope you enjoy!
